coconut plant information and uses

cocosncifera is a member of palm family palnt. coconut plant is growing upto 30 mtrs tall. the palm have two varieties exists. there are two types of plant variety one is tall and second is dwarf variety. A full sized coconut weighs 1.44 kgs. Coconut also need high humidity for optimum growth which is why they are rarely seen in areas with low humidity. and require warm condition for successful growth. Coconut palms are cultivated more than 80 counties in the world. this plant is very hard to grow in dry climates. it requires lots of water to grow. Basicall in india coconut cultivation in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Maharastra, West Bengal, Odisha, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, pondicherry, and lakshadweep island. the largest numbers of tress in kerala in india. and it is famous due to lots of coconut based product business and its water. the product coir-pith is used as a fertilizer now days.
